Owner Jennifer Wolf knows a thing or two about pain and coping, both from a psychology standpoint and a personal one. Wolf lost her husband, a solider in the United States Army, in 2013 as a result of his third tour in Iraq. Wolf not only had to work through her own pain and loss but assist their 16 year old son through his as well. Inspired to do more, Wolf went back to school in 2016 and received a Master's degree in Psychology from Adler's School of Psychology in 2018. She then registered as a psychotherapist in the state of Colorado, became EAGALA certified, and started practicing psychotherapy with equines assisting in client growth. Destinacion's offers a unique therapy that combines Wolf's expertise in helping to identify obstacles, dissect them and overcome them to work toward patient goals with 1000-pound animals that teach communication and taking the lead in life. Wolf offers her incredible services free of charge to veterans, active duty, and their families and raises funds for others who may not be able to afford the therapy.
