I am blessed to be here.
Recently I was honored with the roll of being APD and on air for Y96.9.
This is something I am very proud of and happy to take on, but this is not where the work stops, as it is an honor, but this is where the work now begins.
Growing up in the middle of nowhere in Southern Colorado- I was raised to listen to one of two things, the AM sports station or KCCY.
In fact, my life was molded in this way as I once told my mother I didn’t want to go to football practice and she said my other option was go ride a bull at the rodeo.
I knew the bull would win that battle, so off to football I went.
To the listeners I want to say thank you for this opportunity. I am humbled by the kind words thus-far and I will do everything I can to make you proud.
And to those who have helped me along the way, and that is a BIG LIST of fantastic people, thank you ALL. You know who you are, and I continue to lean on every one of you as I still have plenty to learn and plenty I don’t know.
And to my family, thank you for putting up with me, and thank you for all the love and support I have received during some trying and hard times which we made it through and now we can recognize and appreciate the good times still to come.
I am humbled and honored. Thank you and now let’s get to work.
