The Buffalo Bills are releasing pass-rusher Von Miller, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Sunday (March 9) morning.

"The #Bills are releasing pass-rusher Von Miller, per me and @TomPelissero. Miller is set to turn 36 years old before the 2025 season, and Buffalo makes the move now. Both sides, however, are open to a return," Rapoport wrote.

The Bills confirmed the move on their official website and social media accounts shortly after Rapoport and Pelissero's report.

"Thank you, Von Miller," the Bills wrote on X.

Miller, 35, a two-time Super Bowl champion, ranks 16th all-time among NFL players with 129.5 career sacks. The move will free the Bills from $8.4 million against the cap.

Miller spent the past three seasons with the Bills, initially signing a six-year, $120 million deal in March 2022. The former Texas A&M standout recorded 17 tackles and six sacks in 13 games, but made zero starts during the past two seasons.

Miller spent the majority of his career with the Denver Broncos, having been selected at No. 2 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, winning the 2011 Defensive Rookie of the Year award and Super Bowl 50 MVP in 2016. The Texas native was traded to the Los Angeles Rams midway through the 2021 season, which included winning Super Bow LVI.

Miller is a three-time First-team All-Pro, a four-time Second-team All-Pro and an eight-time Pro Bowler.
