In 2016, school teachers Kandis Bragg and Abbie Weien became friends and introduced their husbands, Phill Bragg and Jake Weien. Call fate or luck for the city of Colorado Springs because out of that friendship, 1350 Distilling was born. Phill Bragg spent 27 years in the United States Marine Corps before starting this business with his wife and the Weiens and 1350 Distilling takes pride in crafting liquors that honors America's military and first responders. Each liquor is carefully crafted for the finest taste that can be offered and every bottle is hand-dipped in wax making each purchase unique. 1350 Distilling hosts tours and tastings as well as several events throughout the year, including, yes, a celebratory event for the Marine Corps birthday complete with a cake cutting ceremony. In addition, you can book your own private tour, tasting, or rent their venue for your own private event. On top of offering high quality drinks and a place to hang out with fun events, the 1350 family is dedicated to giving back and pledges 10% of profits will go back to helping veterans and other charities within the community. You can follow their social media and webpage for updates that include networking and charity events, there's bound to be an event that is exactly what you're looking for!
