I am not a HUGE movie guy- and not a giant fan of Suicide Squad Comics or Movies so this comes as NO SUPRISE to me.
Variety came out with weekend numbers and this is how it fell.
- “The Suicide Squad” – $26.5-million
- “Jungle Cruise” – $15.7-million
- “Old” – $4.1-million
- “Black Widow” – $4-million
- “Stillwater” – $2.9-million
- “The Green Knight” – $2.6-million
- “Space Jam: A New Legacy”
- “Snake Eyes” – $1.6-million
- “Escape Room: Tournament Of Champions” – $1.3-million
- “F9” The Fast Saga” – $1.2-million
Now that LOOKS good- BUT IT's Terrible for "The Squad" as it's the only movie that debuted this weekend. Least the only movie of note.
Some people had Suicide Squad as being closer to 100 Million-- Not 25 Million. If they want to make the budget they need a STRONG Week 2 and 3.
